think of the world you carry within you.

teaching, traveling, learning.

It’s June 1st!

Know what that means? Only one month left here in Taiwan! I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone, and hopefully I can cram all the stuff I still want to do in the next few weeks. I still need to get gifts for friends and family (I am admittedly terrible at gift-giving, sorry in advance), and want to visit a few more sights in Taipei. My camera charger is broken, so I won’t be able to put up many pictures, but I’ll post about anything cool I do!

I love him. He is so cute. I want to eat him.” Nothing like fourth grade crushes.

Mother’s Day

Dear Mom,

Thank you for making my body. If I didn’t have you, I couldn’t read books.

A gift from the man himself, Marvin. Safe to say this is the first time I’ve been given an airplane bottle of whiskey.

Journal Time!

My students wrote journals about this topic: if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Here are some of my favorite responses.

I don’t want to live anywhere. I only want to live in Taipei. Taipei in the Taiwan. My home in the Taipei. So, you should know I only want to live in my home.

I want to live in Taiwan because I can drive Bentley and Hummer on the road, and I can buy a big house.

I would live in France, because France is a beautiful country. I want to live in Paris. And I can listen to French horn.

I would live in an uninhabited island. I would be a farmer. I would be the king in that island. I would be free!

If  I could live anywhere in the world, I will live in Japan. Because have many Hello Kitty. I am so love Hello Kitty.
